WR and co-OC
James Griffin

Coach James Griffin comes to us from Fullerton College where he is Wide Receivers/Recruiting-Passing Game Coordinator. In addition to his knowledge, and experience, “Coach Griff” brings BIG TIME enthusiasm that rubs off on all the players. A former linebacker from East High School in Memphis, he was All-State and a Tennessee State Player of the Year – setting numerous state records (sacks in a season -29-, sacks in a career -60-, and blocked kicks -19-. Coach Griff Griffin played DB a at Pasadena City College before finishing up his final two years playing at Virginia Tech University.

Griffin spent five (5) years in professional football (Jacksonville Jaguars, IFL Alaska Wild, IFL Corpus Christi Hammerheads, and IFL San Jose Saber Cats) before settling in where he is now: coaching. We are lucky to have him for this short season.
